George Lucas has acquired a plot of land adjacent to his estate, which is located in one of the most secluded places in California.
How do you know that? This is what Mansion Global writes about with reference to public data and people close to the deal.

What is this place? Carpenteria is a seaside town located 17km southeast of Santa Barbara, California. It’s a favourite spot for celebrities, including Kevin Costner, for its privacy.

Quote. “This place is more isolated than Malibu or Santa Monica and other similar resorts,” explains real estate agent Tim Hoctor, who worked with Kevin Costner’s real estate. By the way, the Hollywood actor himself put up for sale his house in Carpenter a few years ago, but later refused the idea and withdrew the ad.

What kind of real estate? The filmmaker has acquired a property with a total area of more than 8000 sq.m. in the vicinity of his own property on Padaro Lane. The lot is located directly on the coastline and includes the main mansion, guest house, tree house and outbuildings. All this cost him $28 million.

Prehistory. Lucas bought the first, smaller plot of land in Carpenterie in 2010 for $19.5 million.
